Reports:
NLAS has a lot of reports to be presented. We have these reports in place and they are:
- National Literacy Week Report.
- NLAS Annual Reports. The report of 1998 was compiled by the officers of NLAS in Port Moresby, National Capital District. The other report of 2001 was also written by NLAS officers in Port Moresby, National Capital District in commemoration of the late Prof. Otto Nekitel. The 2002 report was written by NLAS staff in Port Moresby, National Capital District in commemoration of the late Cain Ketoma.
- Situational Analysis Report. These reports are in place and have been distributed to some of our stakeholders, literacy partners and programme sites.
- National Literacy and Awareness Council Meeting Report. This report was of the first meeting of 2001 (1/2001) held in Wewak, East Sepik Province from 12-16 March, 2001.
- National Literacy and Awareness Council Meeting Report. This report was of the second meeting of NLAC of 2004. This meeting was held in Jais Aben Resort, Madang Province from 24-28 March 2004.
- NGOs Networking Workshop Report. This workshop was conducted in view of gathering all participants from all the provinces in the PNG to come together to collect and disseminate information from one another. The purpose of the workshop is to find out what they are doing with their literacy and NFE programmes and activities in their respective provinces. One of this Networking Workshops was held in Bundun Resource Centre, Lae, Morobe Province. The other workshop was conducted at St. Peter ToRot Centre, Kiunga, Western Province.
This workshop consisted of NGOs representatives, Churches representatives, LLGs representatives, DOE representatives; other Government representatives participated in these two workshops.
- Provincial Literacy/Elementary Coordinators’ Workshop Report: This workshop comprises of all Literacy and Elementary Coordinators around the country participated. The workshop was held at Kimbe Hotel in Kimbe, West New Britain Province from 6 -12/06/1997.
- Literacy Workshops Reports. These reports were compiled by NLAS officers after the completion of the workshop. The workshop takes at least a week. One of the workshops conducted was at Meii, Kerema; Gulf Province from 8-19/03/2011. This is an Adult Literacy Teachers Training Workshop.
